Flat Roofing
We install, replace and repair flat roofs in EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and traditional felt or torch-on systems, on garages, porches, canopies and extensions — including the deck and insulation beneath.
- EPDM single-sheet rubber membrane
- GRP fibreglass roofing
- Felt and torch-on felt
- Leak detection and repairs
- Replacement decking and insulation
Finding the Cause
- Ponding water, blisters, splits and lifted edges are the most common causes of flat roof leaks.
- A soft or springy deck usually means water has already reached the boards beneath.
- Water under a flat roof is sometimes condensation rather than a leak, especially on uninsulated roofs.
How the Work Is Done
- EPDM is laid as a single sheet bonded to the deck, with trims at the edges.
- GRP is laid as resin and matting over boards, then finished with a topcoat.
- Felt systems are built up in layers, bonded or torched to the deck.
- Wet or damaged decking is replaced before the new covering is laid.
Repair or Replace?
A local split or failed edge can often be repaired. If the deck is soft, the covering has failed in several places or the roof ponds badly, replacement is usually more reliable.

Workmanship Cover & Materials
Workmanship cover is assessed for each job. We do not advertise one fixed guarantee period for all repairs or installations. Ask what cover, if any, applies to the proposed work; any agreed terms, duration and exclusions should be confirmed in writing. Manufacturer warranties are separate and depend on the selected product and its conditions.
Our £1,000,000 public liability insurance covers accidental damage or injury to others; it is not a warranty on the work.
Common Questions
Which Is Better: EPDM, GRP or Felt?
Each suits different roofs. EPDM suits simple shapes, GRP suits detailed areas and walkways, and felt is a traditional layered option. We will explain the trade-offs for your roof.
Can You Repair Just Part of My Flat Roof?
Often, if the rest of the covering and the deck are sound.
Is the Water Under My Flat Roof a Leak?
Not always. Condensation can form under cold roofs. We look for the cause before recommending work.
